The headquarters of China National Travel Service Group (CTS) moved from Beijing to Haikou, capital of Hainan province, on Sept 12, a highlight of the island province's 100-day investment attraction activity launched on May 20.

Hainan has carried out two rounds of strategic cooperation with central enterprises this year. The first round in early July included seven central enterprises. CTS, with a registered capital of 15.8 billion yuan ($2.3 billion), signed a cooperation agreement with the Hainan Provincial People's Government in the first round.

Nine central enterprises reached cooperation agreements with the provincial government in the second round on Sept 14, including China Huaneng Group Co, Ltd, China Telecom, China Mobile Communications Group Co, Ltd, and China Railway Group Limited. They will contribute in various fields such as energy, environmental protection, traffic and communication.
