The Hainan Development and Reform Commission announced the first four key projects in need of private investment on Sept 13.

The first project is to construct 495 rural sewage treatment facilities and support facilities in Tunchang county at a cost of 380 million yuan ($55 million).

Entailing an investment of 370 million yuan, the second project involves the construction of an incineration power plant capable of processing 600 tons of household waste daily and generating 12 megawatts of electricity per hour in Wenchang.

To cost 1.38 billion yuan, the third project is to build public parking lots with 8,000 parking spots in Sanya's Tianya and Jiyang districts.

An urban-rural integrated water supply project in Xinzhu town requires an investment of 820 million yuan to supply 67,000 cubic meters of water per day for Xinzhu, Longmen and Maluoling.

Any enterprise or individuals interested in investing the above-mentioned four projects can call Lin Daosheng, an official of the commission, at 0898-65301933.
