Forty journalists from 30 media groups of the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong completed a special economic zone visit on July 30 after a nine days' journey.

Reporters from 14 news units in the Chinese mainland, 15 in Taiwan and one in Hong Kong started the trip in Shenzhen in Guangdong province and then visited Hainan's Haikou, Wenchang and Sanya. Over 350 reports have described the development status of special economic zones that have led China's reform and opening up.
