The first China (Hainan) Wine Conference was held at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center on June 15 to promote the global influence of the grape wine industry.
Over 1,000 representatives attended the series of activities including a theme forum, a wine tasting night and a trade show. About 260 of them are experts, strategic partners and outstanding field personnel who were invited to exchange ideas and experience. In the 6,000-sq-m exhibition area, 231 enterprises from nine wine-producing regions along the Belt and Road displayed their products.
The conference also exhibited the fashion culture of Li people's traditional clothes while the wine lovers tasted thousands of kinds and grades of wines from all over the world.
The event was sponsored by the Department of Commerce of Hainan Province and the China Association of European Technical and Economic Cooperation. Organizers included the Chapter of Grape and Wine of the China Association of European Technical and Economic Cooperation, the Hainan Hotel & Catering Association, and Beijing Puying International Convention and Exhibition Co, Ltd.
