Hainan launched the 2nd Hainan (International) Original Art Exhibition and the "Exceeders Cup" Design Skill Youth Competition via a press conference held at the International Academic Exchange Center of the China Institute for Reform and Development on June 10.
The exhibition and competition mainly integrated with design skills, photography and paintings is divided into three seasons and will continue to mid-October.
The organizing committee invited famous architects, designers, and experts and scholars in environmental art design, design of print ads, interior design, painting, and photography from home and abroad to offer guidance and advice at the launch.
The exhibition displays Hainan's cultural and economic achievements as commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Hainan province and the special economic zone. It will help promote the development of the arts and culture industry in Hainan, mobilize employment of more art industrial professionals in Hainan, and create more ideas on advancing the construction of the China (Hainan) Pilot Free Trade Zone and gradual exploration of the free trade port with Chinese characteristics.
The first session of the art exhibition held last year received extensive attention and widespread praise with strong support from Haikou culture, radio, television, publication and sports bureau, and the convention and exhibition bureau.
In addition to the two sponsors last year, the Hainan Display Art Trade Association joined the list this year. The Hainan Career Development Center of the Urban Construction Magazine conducted the planning.
