Cultural Night is designed to slow down people's pace and re-examine the mainspring of human progress from a long-term perspective--what impact can the spirit of the humanities have on today's world? The night will bring together recognized experts from various fields of the humanities from home and abroad to share interesting stories and insights with regards to the evolution of mankind and trace the origin of human civilizations. Emphasis will be particularly placed upon those humble, outward-looking, courageous and wise humanistic ideas and acts in history, with a view to creating a certain coordinated system by which people can identify their current position and where they will be in the future.
